Mrs. Shari Mabbitt


Mrs. Mabbitt graduated from Bob Jones University in Greenville, South Carolina with a BS degree in Business Administration. Upon completion of college, she met and married her husband Phil. They have been married for 23 years and have four boys. Desiring to be involved in the education of her children, she home schooled for four years. Shari continued her career in education, pursuing licensure. She taught preschool in South Carolina before moving to Utah. This is her 11th year of teaching in Utah, and her second year at Good Foundations Academy. She holds a Level 2 Professional Educators license from the state of Utah, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Education degree. Shari loves teaching Core Knowledge and Character Ed at GFA. Apart from teaching, she enjoys exercising, reading, shopping, going to concerts and plays, eating out and spending time with her family. As a family, they love hiking, camping, and backpacking in Southern Utah, biking, rock climbing and repelling, watching movies, sledding, skiing and most recently snowboarding. 




Miss Nicole Pietsch

Having recently completed her professional licensing requirements through the University of Utah, Miss Pietsch is eager to continue her adventure in her fourth year of Core Knowledge teachingh at GFA.  Miss Pietsch graduated from Weber State University with a bachelors of science in Zoology, where she developed a passion for learning and teaching others about science.  Some of her favorite classroom moments have been watching students make logical connections by observing and performing fun classroom experiments.
In addition to her professional development, Miss Pietsch was busy at home over the summer with a wedding and purchase of a new home.  Miss Pietsch has been delighted to take on the new roles of spouse, mentor, and mother to one lucky husband, two children, two dogs, two cats, and seven small birds.

About Me
I don't like to write with black pens. I will not wear plain socks. Colors make me happy. Teaching and learning with children is one of the best adventures I have ever taken.



Miss Anderson 


Miss Anderson is excited to be starting her first year teaching second grade at Good Foundations Academy. She recently graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Miss Anderson was heavily involved in the multicultural community and clubs at Utah State, and to this day is very passionate about culture and diversity. She loves to travel and experience new things everywhere she goes. She is excited to be teaching Core Knowledge curriculum and building a great relationship with all her students. Miss Anderson enjoys many sports and outdoor activities like soccer, tennis, snowboarding, disc golf, volleyball, hiking, camping, 4-wheeling and so much more. She loves all kinds of animals, especially her cat and her pet tarantula. Miss Anderson is thrilled to be starting this new adventure at GFA!
